Il San Francisco Bay Area Film Critics Circle 2024 ha annunciato i vincitori. Anora di Sean Baker si è aggiudicato i premi come miglior film, migliore sceneggiatura originale e miglior montaggio. A The Brutalist invece, come riportato da AwardsWatch, sono andati i riconoscimenti per la miglior regia, miglior colonna sonora, miglior scenografia e miglior fotografia.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste ha trionfato come migliore attrice per Hard Truths, mentre i premi come non protagonista sono andati a Yura Borisov per Anora e Joan Chen per Dìdi.
Il Marlon Riggs Award (assegnato a registi o individui della Bay Area che rappresentano coraggio e innovazione nel mondo del cinema) è andato al San Quentin Film Festival inaugurale (Rahsaan “New York” Thomas, Cori Thomas).
