Sono stati annunciati, nel corso della cerimonia di premiazione che si è svolta domenica sera, i vincitori del London Critics’s Circle Film Awards 2025, con il dramma diretto da Brady Corbet The Brutalist incoronato miglior film dell’anno.
Come riportato da Variety, il thriller ambientato nel Vaticano diretto da Edward Berger: Conclave, porta a casa i riconoscimenti come miglior film britannico/irlandese e per il miglior attore dell’anno assegnato a Ralph Fiennes, mentre a Nickel Boys di RaMell Ross vanno la miglior regia e la miglior fotografia per Jomo Fray.
La miglior sceneggiatura è di Real Pain, il film di Jesse Eisenberg che conquista anche il miglior attore non protagonista per Kieran Culkin. Miglior attrice non protagonista è Zoe Saldana per Emilia Pèrez.
