La 40esima edizione dei Film Independent Spirit Awards, come riportato da AwardsWatch, ha incoronato Anora di Sean Baker miglior film, miglior regia e miglior interpretazione per Mikey Madison.

Kieran Culkin è la miglior interpretazione non protagonista per A Real Pain, il film di Jesse Eisenberg che porta a casa anche il riconoscimento per la miglior sceneggiatura.
