Critics Choice Awards 2024: svelate le nomine, Barbie ottiene 18 menzioni

Sono state annunciate le nomine dei Critics Choice Awards 2024 che vede Barbie di Greta Gerwig ottenere ben 18 menzioni

Il live-action campioni d’incassi Barbie diretto da Greta Gerwig ha superato tutta la concorrenza per le nomination ai Critics Choice Awards 2024, ottenendo ben 18 menzioni. Si tratta del numero più alto raggiunto da un film nel corso dei 29 anni di attività dell’organizzazione, che supera il bottino di Everything Everywhere All at Once e The Shape of Water, entrambi i quali ne ottennero 14 ciascuno durante i rispettivi anni.

Tra le nomine di Barbie quelle per il miglior film, regia, attrice per Margot Robbie, attore non protagonista per Ryan Gosling, attrice non protagonista per America Ferrera, e tre per la canzone originale, ovvero: Dance the Night, I’m Just Ken e What Was I Made For?

Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan e Poor Things! di Yorgos Lanthimos raggiungono invece 13 candidature ciascuno, inclusa quella per il miglior film, arrivando al secondo posto per numero di nomination per i film. A completare la categoria dei migliori film ci sono anche American Fiction di Cord Jefferson, The Color Purple di Blitz Bazawule, The Holdovers di Alexander Payne, Maestro di Bradley Cooper, Past Lives di Celine Song e Saltburn di Emerald Fennell.
