L’adattamento musicale di Wicked guida le nomination degli Astra Film and Creative Arts Awards 2024 con 20 menzioni.
La Hollywood Creative Alliance ha svelato le candidature degli Astra Film Creative Arts Awards 2024, i cui vincitori saranno annunciati nel corso delle due cerimonie di premiazione che si terranno, a pranzo e a cena, al Taglyan Complex Los Angeles il prossimo 8 dicembre, e che saranno registrate e trasmesse in streaming su KNEKT.tv e YouTube .
L’attore, comico e scrittore Peter Kim presenterà gli Astra Creative Arts Awards e la comica vincitrice di 2 Emmy e NAACP Loni Love presenterà gli Astra Film Awards. Alcune categorie degli Astra TV Awards posticipati di questa estate saranno presentate in concomitanza con le due cerimonie.
A dominare le nomination, come riportato da AwardsWatch, il nuovo adattamento cinematografico targato Universal Wicked, che ottiene ben 20 menzioni, incluse quelle per il Miglior film, Miglior attrice per Cynthia Erivo, Miglior attrice non protagonista per Ariana Grande, Miglior attore non protagonista per Jonathan Bailey e Miglior regista per Jon M. Chu.
Dune: Part Two ne ottiene 16, e l’audace musical Emilia Pérez di Netflix 11. Tra i film più nominati anche Challengers, Il Gladiatore II, The Brutalist, Anora, Conclave, The Wild Robot e A Real Pain.
Inoltre, la Hollywood Creative Alliance ha annunciato la scorsa settimana che la costumista Colleen Atwood riceverà l’Inaugural Artisan Icon Award, il compositore Kris Bowers riceverà l’Artisan Achievement Award e il direttore della fotografia Giovanni Ribisi riceverà l’Artisan Breakthrough Award durante la cerimonia degli Astra Creative Arts Awards.
