Alliance of Women Film Journalists EDA 2021: Miglior Film, Regia e Sceneggiatura Adattata “Il Potere del Cane”
L’Alliance of Women Film Journalists (AWFJ) ha annunciato i vincitori dell’AWFJ EDA 2021, decretando “Il Potere del Cane” il Miglior Film, ed assegnando inoltre al titolo di Jane Campion i riconoscimenti per la Miglior Regia, Sceneggiatura Adattata, Miglior Attore a Beneditch Cumberbatch, Miglior Attrice non Protagonista a Kirsten Dunst, e Miglior Attore non Protagonista a Kodi Smit – PcPhee.
“Sebbene la nostra amata industria cinematografica sia stata afflitta dalla pandemia, il 2021 si è rivelato un anno magnifico per i film, specialmente per i film realizzati da e sulle donne” – ha affermato la presidente dell’AWFJ Jennifer Merin – “Noi dell’Alliance of Women Film Journalists siamo liete di notare che i brillanti titoli dello scorso anno diretti, scritti e interpretati da donne stanno ottenendo il riconoscimento dei premi che meritano, come mostrato nella nostra lista di vincitrici del premio EDA, e in film e talenti nel nostro elenco di candidati, così come nei premi assegnati da gruppi di altri critici cinematografici.”
La Miglior Attrice è Olivia Colman per “The Lost Daughter”, mentre a “Belfast” va il riconoscimento per la Miglior Sceneggiatura Originale.
