La Cinema Audio Society ha svelato le nomine della 61esima edizione dei CAS Awards, i riconoscimenti che celebrano il meglio del mixaggio audio, i cui vincitori saranno annunciati il 22 febbraio, presso il Beverly Hilton. Cerimonia nel corso del quale, come riportato da AwardsWatch, il fonico di produzione Tod A. Maitland, in lizza tra l’altro per A Complete Unknwon e Fallout, riceverà il CAS Career Achievement Award, e il regista Denis Villeneuve il Filmmaker Award della Cinema Audio Society.
“Il 2024 è stato un anno di risultati straordinari nella comunità del suono, con talenti eccezionali in mostra in ogni categoria”, ha affermato il presidente del CAS Peter Kurland. “L’innovazione e l’abilità di questi fonici continuano a elevare l’artigianato e i prossimi premi saranno una celebrazione degli straordinari contributi forniti quest’anno”.
